This item describes the conduct procedures required from registered users of this e-Portfolio site.
Member Responsibilities - Terms of Use
As a registered member of this TAFE Virtual Campus ( TAFE VC) e-Portfolio Service, you are personally accountable for your practice and must:
- Ensure that any personal information, contained in the "my folder", that you wish to prevent other members from viewing is made private through the state pull-down menu. No other person(s) or organisations are liable through your inaction or neglect in this regard.
- Act always in such a manner as to promote and safeguard the
interests and well-being of other members.
- Ensure that no action or omission on your part, or
within your sphere of responsibility, is detrimental to the
interests, condition or safety of other members.
- Work in a collaborative and co-operative manner with other members,
and recognise and respect their particular contributions.
- Recognise the uniqueness and dignity of other members, and respond to their needs, irrespective of their ethnic origin, religious beliefs, personal attributes, the nature of any health problems or any other factor.
- Report to the e-Portfolio administrator or TAFE VC HelpDesk (email:help@tafevc.com.au), at the earliest possible time, any objection that may be relevant to your practice.
- Report to the e-Portfolio administrator or TAFE VC HelpDesk (email:help@tafevc.com.au), at the earliest possible time, if you have exceeded the 10Mb memory quota allocated to you as a member.
- Report to e-Portfolio administrator or TAFE VC HelpDesk
(email:help@tafevc.com.au), having regard to the physical,
psychological and social effects on other members, any circumstances in
the environment, which could jeopardise standards of practice.
- The TAFE VC e-Portfolio administrator may at any time block access
to any or all part of the e-Portfolio, to a member if they break these
Terms of Use, are rude or abusive to other members or provide
public access, directly or via other media, to inappropriate, illegal
and offensive material.
I understand that the e-Portfolio administrator reserves the right to cancel any member's access to the e-Portfolio or terminate membership without warning.
Note: A member is any person registered within the TAFE VC
e-Portfolio.
