Using the TAFE Virtual Campus On-line e-Portfolio:

An Overview

Portfolio is an on-line interactive information management tool designed to give students, and TAFE practitioners the opportunity to create and distribute their educational records and other supporting documents.

The e-Portfolio is currently available to all students within the Victorian State Training System and all TAFE practitioners.

The e-Portfolio provides a dynamic, efficient mechanism for integrating official as well as self-reported qualifications, career, and personal information. It is an on-line, integrated database where a variety of student records, work samples, and planning documents can be electronically housed in the following formats:

Users can easily store, view, and selectively share this information with others anywhere, anytime via the web.

The e-Portfolio provides an efficient way to document and reflect upon personal information, educational accomplishments, career goals, skills development, job skills, and recognition you have received. You can retrieve and view your documents at any time and organize components of it into folders for others at the e-Portfolio to access.

You can also view folders that other e-Portfolio owners have created for you.

Each user can register themselves and then log into his or her personal e-Portfolio account by entering his or her ID and password via the Internet.
