WHAT IS A GROUP?

Members of a group can share and collaborate within the groupspace, using all the same tools available within their own work-space.

Groups are ideal for using with projects.

If a particular group of users wish to, for example, share information about travel experiences, they could request the creation of that group, nominate the members of that group and use the groupspace as a common work area or location for contributing and accessing others' contributions.

Only group members can upload and edit group content.

WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF WORKING IN A GROUP?

  1. Members of a Group can work within a space dedicated to the aims of a relevant project.
  2. Group members can work privately within their personal space and share content with the Group Space only when they wish to.
  3. Content shared with the Group is available for comment and review by all members of the Group.
  4. Members of the e-Portfolio can be invited to share their personal content with any Group but they are not able to edit or review any Group content.


HOW TO CREATE A GROUP.........

Creating a Group is simply a matter of filling out the Group Request Form , providing the Group Name and the Members' names. The e-Portfolio Administrator will create that group within 24 hours.
